Last night was the Love Singapore annual event known as DAY OF HIS POWER – which is a time for the Body of Christ from throughout Singapore to come together to pray for our nation. Tina and I had a wonderful time with our friend Jeremy Seaward and the inter church music team leading the people in worship of our God.
Apart from praying for the churches and pastors of Singapore, for the 7 gates (Arts and Entertainment, Business, Communications and Media, Disadvantaged, Education, Family, Government) – for me it was the great opportunity to come together and hang out with friends from all across the Churches of Singapore. When we can learn to put all our differences aside and lift Jesus, you’d be surprised what can take place in Him.
Psalm 133 is the most obvious Scripture that comes to mind when I think about moments like this:
”How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! 2 It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down upon the collar of his robes. 3 It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.”
LORD bless this land as we pursue your heart for it in unity!
